The mission of JASSW is to promote mutual understanding and friendship between the peoples of Japan and Washington State by providing a forum for the exchange of ideas and information. Our ancestors came various Prefectures some over 100 years ago and others less than two years, gathered together for social and economic support. Today, most Kenjin Kai gather to keep our history of our ancestors alive: hosting our annual New Year's Party Celebrations and planning other activities throughout the year.
Megumi Preschool
Megumi preschool was founded in September of 1992 in Seattle, Washington. Since then we have expanded adding another location in Bellevue, Washington. We watch children anywhere from 4 months old to 5 years of age. Here at Megumi Preschool children learn Japanese through daily activities and weekly special classes such as Music, PeeWee, Japanese, art, etc. We are committed to food education and making sure that all of our meals are well balanced.
