Neely Mansion/Japanese American Bath House

The Neely Mansion Association is a non-profit historical society with the mission to restore the Victorian Neely Mansion located near Auburn WA. In 2016, the Association restored a historic Japanese American bath house standing behind the mansion. The bath house was built in 1930 by the Shigeichi and Shimano Hori family, who leased the Neely property and lived in the mansion with their five children, while running a produce and dairy farm. The bath house is now a designated King County Landmark and open for tours.

We will have information about the JET program and also a big laminated map to draw on. We'll also have a small slide show of pictures from JET and other small items from Japan.
The Pacific Northwest JET Alumni Association's goal and mission is to spread knowledge about the JET program (teaching English in Japan), share knowledge about Japanese culture and help foster good Japanese / American relations.

The Japanese Art of Seimei is a non-touch technique from Japan that enables and promotes health, healing and connection. Since its founding by Toshihisa Hiraki, in 1984, more than 15,000 Japanese have become practitioners. The Seimei Foundation is a non-profit organization that is dedicated to bringing Seimei to the United States. Free demonstrations of this powerful technique, which is safe and non-invasive, will be available for those interested in experiencing the Japanese Art of Seimei.
